The Academy
The 7th edition of the European Summer Music Academy (ESMA) will take place from August 22 to 31 2018 in the cities of Gjakova and Mitrovica. The students from Kosovo and abroad will have again the opportunity of studying with renowned European professors as well as meeting with their peers from other different countries.
As in the past, the ESMA 2018 will be supported by several European embassies in Kosovo, Municipality of Gjakova, Rotary Club Aachen Land (Germany) as well as other international and local institutions and sponsors.
ESMA 2018 will be led by the Executive and Artistic Director Mr. Desar Sulejmani with the collaboration of the local implementers, NGO Bell’Arte and Kosova ARS which are located in Prishtina, Gjakova and Mitrovica.
As per now, ESMA 2018 will offer to its participants these masterclasses: piano, violin, viola, violoncello, flute, oboe, trumpet, percussion, singing and orchestral conducting. ESMA 2018 will offer for the first time in its history also masterclasses for composition.
Based on the last year experience all students will have the possibility to attend several masterclasses for chamber music with piano, strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion ensembles.
The registration fee of 50 EUR is associated to the participations in ESMA 2018.
The students from cities other than Gjakova and Mitrovica will be provided with shelter accommodation, including breakfast, by the dormitories of the city of Gjakova and Mitrovica.
