Artemida Qarri-Haxhiaj

Pianist

Ms. Qarri–Haxhiaj was born on 1984 in Pristina, Kosovo. She finished successfully music high school “Prenkë Jakova“ in Pristina and also graduated at the University Arts in piano with high results.  She graduated for master’s degree at the state conservatorium “Lorenzo Perosi” in Campobasso, Italy.

Recognized as a soloist piano player with a virtuoso character. Ms. Qarri-Haxhiaj has always been involved in cultural activities domestically and internationally. Regular participant in renewed festivals such as“ ReMusica” since its beginning, ArsKosova Chamber Music Festival, Involved in National Tournament of Kosovo, also as accompanying pianist during the European Summer Music Academy 2015 in Kosovo as well as in other cultural activities.

She has cooperated with renowned pianists such as: Günther Ludwig (Germany), Aki Takahashi (Japan), Kevin Kenner (USA), Rita Trpceva (FYROM), etc.

In 2008-2009 Ms. Qarri-Haxhiaj was collaborator for cultural activities for Embassy of Kosovo in Rome, also as Coordinator for  Kosovo in  charitable project  “Music for Peace “which was supported by UNESCO .

Her concerts have taken place not only throughout the region but also in different European cultural and classical music centers such as: Sant’ Ignazio Chathedral in Rome, Campobasso, Sandefjord Kirke in Sandefjord, Oslo, Bergen, etc.

For many years and still continuing, she is regular professor at “Prenkë Jakova” music school in Pristina and cooperative accompanying pianist in the Faculty of Arts in Pristina, Kosovo.
